Hi Bloggie Friends,
I woke up feeling tired and cranky this morning...not good when it is only Tuesday. I decided that the best way to shake off the Grinchiness was to play with the camera and take some pretty pictures just because. I love the awesome antique linens I got recently and roses, china, and white ironstone is a trifecta for beating the blues, at least for me and lots of my peeps out here in cyberspace (you know who you are). I've had this amazing cup and saucer for ages. The roses in this photo are from my garden and smell SOOO good. I took them into my office in a little milk glass vase and it made the office smell so nice...
Butter pat love for sure...
The little enamel Roman numerals make my heart go pitter patter.
I can't help but smile even editing the pictures. Got the French cheese heart mold (couer a la creme is it's proper name) in Brimfield about 5 years ago and I LOVE it! I clearly need to make time to play with the camera more often. It's cheaper than therapy! I'm sharing today's post with Blissful Whites Wednesday over at Timewashed.
Until next time,
Good morning!I am glad you're feeling better, and your photo shoot did the trick for me too! First sip of coffee and your blog post...I'm smiling now too! LOVE your ironstone! The heart cheese mold...wow...so pretty and romantic! And the butter pats are precious. I must look for some enamel numbers. There's something so nostalgic about those babies! But I guess it was the whitework linens and the roses that truly caught my eyes this morning. Just so serene and beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing your pretties with us. Makes my day!!

I adore butter pats.. especially the white porcelain ones. Love their weight .. their creamy white... they way they nest perfectly, one into another. And don't you love the glazing that occurs?? Just the best!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!

Hi Judy! Oh I adore your blog and I could read the whole thing if time only permitted. Maybe someday! I love your name too *wink* I have a Sister named Judy who is coming to visit me in August! Love your photos and all the lovely whites! I read your profile and I do hope your son is doing better! I would love to join your site with google friend connect but it won't let me. Don't worry it's not your blog, it's some weird thing my computer has decided to start doing and it won't let me join anyone's site anymore. I will have to figure it out because I would love to follow you!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week-end!
