Had Myself a PSE (Positive Shopping Experience)

Hello my bloggie friends!  I took a 3 day weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it (what's not to love, right?).  One of my favorite things was going to a local antiques show and seeing my old dealer friends. I used to do that show when I first started dealing in antiques myself, so it is always like old home week when I go.  Anyway, I found some lovely treasures like these awesome old French linen towels and an oversized wooden rosary.

Love the way the antique monk's rosary looks against the chippy old cupboard.

I fell in love with the very old ex voto. It is such thin metal and has such wonderful details...

Felt some pink glass bead and rosary love, clearly...

I love these tiny glass buttons and the amazing mother of pearl buckle, don't you?

Fell in love with this precious piece of sheet music...isn't the title wonderful?

Couldn't resist the 1920's travel photo...

I had a wonderful day last week when I discovered that I was the winner of the French Friday giveaway from Rhonda at A Little Bit French.  Rhonda is so talented and I've mentioned her before on my blog.  I think this puffy little hanging heart takes the cake for loveliness.  Thank you Rhonda!

Well, that's all for now.  Sharing with Blissful Whites Wednesday.

Until next time,
Pin It!

  1. Hi Judy, What a beautiful post! The photograph from the father with his children is so special. French things are always special. I love it too.

  3. Hi,

I've just found your blog and really love those vintage French linen towels, we don't see lovely things like this in my neck of the woods. I also just love your space that you created in your closet! It really is a dream space..... I'm slowly but surely trying to get myself organized, but, unfortunately don't have a space of my own quite yet! So, I'm using our guest room for some shelves I picked up from a business that was closing up. They are 22 " x 26" and 7' tall with a couple of glass shelves and the last shelf on the bottom is mirror. I have an extra glass that I think I can use to make two other shelves. I now need to organize some of my stuff on them... For now I have to keep my material in different closets in the house, Ughhh! When our last son is out I will use that room as my creative space.

I want to ask you something if you don't mind! I just love how you used the graphics from The Graphics Fairy to print on "stock" , at least it seems like you used "stock", which is like a cardboard, right? Is this stock/cardboard cut or already that size. I don't seem to know a thing about this stuff, lol. Perhaps you can enlighten this poor woman.....

Here in northern Ontario Canada we have lots of snow still and I am anxiously awaiting Spring.... Our snow doesn't really go till April/May, although last year it was melting profusely in March, though it seems it might not do the same this year. The storm seem to be hitting all over Canada and the U.S. real bad this year.

Thank you for your time and wishing you a blessed day!
